How to do the Cable Low-to-High Flye
- Stand between the cable machines, holding a handle in each hand.
- With a slight bend in your elbows, sweep handles up and inward.
- Feel a stretch across your chest as you lower handles back down slowly.
- Keep your shoulders down and relaxed throughout the movement.
Full technique — 7 steps
- Set both cable pulleys to the lowest position and attach single handles.
- Stand centered between the pulleys with a split stance and a handle in each hand.
- Start with arms slightly out to your sides, palms facing forward or inward, and a slight bend in your elbows.
- Keep your shoulder blades set without shrugging upward.
- Sweep both handles up and inward in a wide arc until your hands meet around upper chest height.
- Squeeze your chest at the top without turning the movement into a press.
- Lower the handles back along the same arc until you feel a stretch across the chest.
