Delete your seto account
You can delete your seto account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no grace period and no way to recover the account afterwards.
How to delete your account from inside the app
- Open the seto app.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
- Tap Delete account.
- Re-enter your password to confirm.
- Confirm the destructive action in the system dialog.
The deletion request is processed in a single transaction by the seto backend the moment you confirm. Once it returns successfully, the account no longer exists.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently removed:
- Your account row (email, password hash, profile, onboarding answers)
- Every workout session, set, exercise, and template you created
- All body measurements you logged
- Your gyms and equipment configurations
- Personal records computed from your sets
- Your active and revoked refresh tokens (you're signed out from every device)
- Your search history, favourites, and constraints
- Per-user analytics caches (muscle volume, recovery state)
What does not get deleted automatically

Your seto Pro subscription, if you have one,
stays active until the end of the current billing period and will
auto-renew unless you cancel it separately. Subscriptions are
managed by Apple or Google, not by seto:
- iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → seto → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → menu → Subscriptions → seto → Cancel.
- App Store / Play Store purchase history stays with the platform. We have no access to it.
- Email transcripts (verification, password reset, etc.) sent to you may remain in your own inbox. We don't keep copies on our side.
If you can't access the app
If your account is locked, your phone is broken, or the app is inaccessible for any reason, you can request deletion by email:
- Send a message to hello@seto.fit from the email address registered to your account.
- Include the phrase “Please delete my account”.
- We'll verify ownership of the email address (one-time code sent to that address) and process the deletion within 7 days.
Email-based deletion is a fallback, not a separate channel — the end result is identical to using the in-app flow.
Re-registering with the same email
Once an account is deleted, the email address is freed up immediately. Signing up again with the same email starts a brand-new account — none of your previous workouts or settings carry over.
