How to do the Treadmill Running

  1. Start the treadmill at a slow speed, then move onto the belt once it is moving.
  2. Find your rhythm and run with a gentle forward lean from your ankles.
  3. Swing your arms naturally and focus on light, quick steps.
  4. To finish, reduce the speed gradually, then step off once the belt has stopped.
Full technique — 8 steps
  1. Stand on the side platforms, set the treadmill to a slow speed, and start the belt.
  2. Move onto the belt once it is moving, landing under your hips with a natural running stride.
  3. Run tall with a slight forward lean from the ankles and your eyes looking ahead.
  4. Let your arms swing naturally at your sides with elbows bent and shoulders relaxed.
  5. Keep your foot strikes quick and light rather than reaching far in front of your body.
  6. Adjust speed or incline as needed to match the pace and effort of the session.
  7. If you need to stop immediately, hit the emergency stop or pull the safety key.
  8. Gradually reduce the pace at the end until you return to an easy walk.
